South Carolina's Fastest-Growing Companies is sponsored by Elliott Davis - the accounting and business advisory firm that brings national-caliber resources to emerging and middle market businesses - in cooperation with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Now in its seventh year, the exclusive ranking recognizes the achievements of private and publicly-owned companies that have contributed to South Carolina's economy. The unique ranking system allows emerging and middle market companies to compete against much larger corporations because it calculates the percentage of growth based on the year-end revenue and employment totals of the two most recently completed fiscal years. Beginning February 15, 2008, nominations will be accepted for the South Carolina's Fastest-Growing Companies 2008 program. The deadline for entries is May 16, 2008.Executives of the Top 25 ranking companies are invited to be guests of Elliott Davis at the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce's prestigious Annual Summit event at Wild Dunes near Charleston in November. Here the representatives of the winning companies will be honored at the Summit's luncheon event and will network with executives from other winning companies and key business leaders from across the Palmetto State. The Top 25 ranking companies also benefit from a statewide marketing campaign, including a feature article in the SC Chamber of Commerce's annual South Carolina Business magazine as well as articles in other leading business publications throughout the state.
